In nearly every country of the world
yesterday would have been one of remembrance
There are War Memorials in just about every town
– large or small –
here in Australia
Built to honour
built to remind
of the sacrifice
men made
These are just a couple I have photographed
The first is in Numurkah
A country town in Victoria
The memorial is large by most small town standards
Many losses from the district are recorded
This one is in Warburton
A very small place in the Yarra Valley
A much smaller memorial
but showing the same amount of respect and dignity
